Community Guidelines
Effective Date: [TO BE FILLED] Last Updated: 2026-07-21
These Community Guidelines set out how everyone on WorkQuora — clients and workers alike — is expected to behave. They form part of our Terms & Conditions. Violating these Guidelines can result in content removal, warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform, as described in Section 13 of the Terms & Conditions and Section 8 of the Worker Agreement.
1. Be honest
- Job postings must accurately describe the work, location, and budget. Do not post fictitious jobs to test the Platform or waste workers' time.
- Proposals must reflect work you genuinely intend and are able to perform.
- KYC documents must be genuine and belong to you. Submitting someone else's identity documents, or altered documents, is a serious violation and will result in account suspension.
- Reviews must reflect an actual completed interaction on the Platform. Do not post fake reviews, and do not offer or accept anything in exchange for a review.
2. Treat others with respect
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, discriminatory remarks (including on the basis of caste, religion, gender, region, or disability), or sexually inappropriate messages are not permitted in chat, reviews, or anywhere else on the Platform.
- Disagreements over the quality or terms of a job should be raised through our dispute process (see the Cancellation Policy and Grievance Redressal Policy), not through abusive messages.
- Do not share another user's personal information (address, phone number obtained outside the app, KYC details, etc.) publicly or with anyone not entitled to it.
3. Keep payment on the Platform
- Do not ask or agree to be paid outside WorkQuora for a job discovered through the Platform, and do not ask a client to pay you directly to avoid the platform commission. This undermines the escrow protection both sides rely on and violates our Terms & Conditions.
- Do not use WorkQuora's chat or contact information exchange to redirect a client relationship off-platform before a job is completed.
4. Safety
- Clients must provide a reasonably safe environment for the worker to perform agreed work at the specified location.
- Workers must show up as agreed, or cancel with reasonable notice through the app rather than simply not appearing.
- If you feel unsafe during a job, end the interaction and contact local authorities if needed, then report the incident to WorkQuora through our Grievance Redressal Policy. WorkQuora is a marketplace and cannot guarantee your physical safety during an in-person job — see our Disclaimer.
- Do not use the live-location or chat features to stalk, track, or contact a user outside the scope of an active job.
5. No prohibited or illegal work
Job postings and proposals must not involve illegal activity, work that requires a license or permit the worker does not hold (where applicable under local law), or anything that would put either party at legal risk. WorkQuora may remove any listing that appears to violate this.
6. Content standards
Photos, descriptions, and messages must not contain obscene, violent, or illegal content, spam, or unrelated advertising. Do not use the Platform to promote a competing service.
7. Reporting a violation
If you encounter a violation of these Guidelines, report it through the in-app reporting option where available, or contact us as described in our Grievance Redressal Policy. We review reports and take action consistent with the severity of the violation, which may include warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal.
8. Enforcement is not automatic in every case
Some violations (for example, spam job postings) may be caught automatically; others (harassment, off-platform payment solicitation, fraudulent reviews) rely on user reports and manual review by our team. If you report something and do not see immediate action, it does not mean it was ignored — please allow time for review, and escalate through our Grievance Redressal Policy if you believe a report was not properly handled.
