Disclaimer

Effective Date: [TO BE FILLED] Last Updated: 2026-07-21

This Disclaimer clarifies the limits of what WorkQuora is and is not responsible for. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Worker Agreement, and Client Agreement.

1. WorkQuora is a marketplace, not an employer

WorkQuora operates a technology platform that connects clients who need local services with independent workers who offer them. WorkQuora does not employ workers, and workers are not WorkQuora's agents or representatives. The relationship for any given job is a direct service contract between the client and the worker. WorkQuora is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for its performance.

2. No guarantee of work completion or quality

WorkQuora does not guarantee that: a posted job will attract a proposal; a hired worker will complete the job; the work performed will meet a client's expectations; a worker will be available when needed; or a client will pay as agreed. WorkQuora's escrow system is designed to reduce payment risk, and our dispute process exists to help resolve disagreements — but WorkQuora does not warrant the outcome of any specific job.

3. No verification of skill or license

WorkQuora verifies a worker's identity through KYC (PAN, Aadhaar, selfie) as described in our Privacy Policy. This is identity verification, not a certification of skill, competence, licensing, or trade qualification. Where a trade legally requires a license or certification (for example, certain electrical or gas work), it is the worker's responsibility to hold it and the client's responsibility to ask for evidence of it if that matters to them — WorkQuora does not check for or guarantee this.

4. Safety during in-person jobs

Many jobs on WorkQuora involve a worker physically visiting a client's location, or a client visiting a worker's premises. WorkQuora is not present at, and has no control over, what happens during that interaction, and cannot guarantee the physical safety of either party. Our live-location-sharing feature during an active job is a convenience feature, not a safety monitoring or emergency-response service — WorkQuora does not monitor live locations in real time and does not dispatch emergency assistance. If you feel unsafe, contact local emergency services directly, then report the incident to us afterward.

5. No employment benefits implied

Nothing on the Platform — job postings, in-app language such as "hire," or any feature — should be read as creating an employer-employee relationship or implying entitlement to employment benefits (minimum wage, provident fund, paid leave, or similar) between a client and a worker, or between WorkQuora and a worker. See Section 1 of our Worker Agreement.

6. User-generated content

Job descriptions, proposals, chat messages, reviews, and photos on the Platform are created by users, not by WorkQuora, and reflect their authors' views and representations, not WorkQuora's. WorkQuora does not independently verify the accuracy of this content, though we act on reports of content that violates our Community Guidelines.

7. Third-party services

The Platform relies on third-party services — including Razorpay for payment processing, Cloudinary for file storage, and Google/Facebook for optional sign-in — whose availability and performance WorkQuora does not fully control. WorkQuora is not liable for outages, errors, or data-handling practices of these third parties beyond WorkQuora's own integration with them, though we select and configure them with care.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law, WorkQuora's total liability to any user for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited as set out in Section 15 of our Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this Disclaimer limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct by WorkQuora itself.

9. "As is" platform

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep it reliable, WorkQuora does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times, though we apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy.
